Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
